If you would like to cancel your order, please find more details in the section below.

Cancelling an Order if you Change Your Mind

If you have placed an order and wish to cancel you may do so immediately and for up to 14 days from the day the goods were delivered to you or the person nominated by you to take delivery. If the order is despatched in more than one delivery, you have 14 days in which to cancel from the date you received the final delivery of the order.

CDA does not accept liability for the cost of returning parts that are no longer required or have been ordered in error. If you have ordered the wrong parts or simply changed your mind, please return the part in perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging, instructions, etc). Do not write on or deface the item, its packaging or any instructions. Please note that the costs of returning the item(s) must be paid by the buyer.

Cancelling an Order Before Despatch or Delivery

To cancel your order on the day the order was placed before it has been despatched, please use the Returns/Cancellations Form on our website, please ensure you provide your order number.

If the order has not been despatched, we may be able to cancel the order prior to collection by the courier. We will cancel the order and issue a refund in full, including carriage charges.

Cancelling an Order After Despatch or Delivery

To cancel your order after it has been despatched or delivered, please use the Returns/Cancellations Form on our website, and also complete the Return Form enclosed with your parcel. If we have already despatched the order, you will need to take delivery and arrange for the return of the parts. We will refund the order in full, including carriage charges, but you will be responsible for organising and paying for the carriage of the return.

Delivery

We will aim to despatch your order by the end of the next working day following order placement and payment. Working days are Monday-Friday excl. public holidays.

Generally, items will be delivered by DPD within 4-5 working days. DPD normally deliver between 7:30am and 7:30pm. Order must be signed for as proof of delivery. Deliveries to Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands could take 6-7 working days.

Please note: After collection from CDA by DPD courier, you will receive text message with a parcel tracking number. You can track your delivery on the DPD website: DPD (UK) – Follow My Parcel, or on your mobile phone using the DPD app.

If you haven’t received your items within 20 days of the date of despatch, they may be declared “lost in transit”. In such circumstances, we will arrange for a replacement order to be delivered if you still require the parts.

If you order multiple items they may arrive separately. Any carriage will only be charged once.

Delivery Address

Please take care when providing the delivery address. Incorrectly addressed parcels may be delayed by the carrier as they will have to manually confirm the delivery details. The accuracy of an address can be checked using the Royal Mail Postcode Finder.

Please ensure that the delivery address provided is complete and correct using the postcode lookup facility (small icon to the right of the postcode box on the checkout page) and that someone is available to receive and sign for the order. This could mean using a work address, a neighbour or a friend/family member who will be available. If no-one is available when a delivery attempt is made, retrieval of the goods from the carrier will become your responsibility.

We cannot accept liability for orders returned as “undelivered” for any reason.

We cannot accept responsibility for deliveries delayed due to inaccurate delivery information, or for parcels that have been delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

The courier will accept a signature from any person at the delivery address. Once a parcel is accepted and signed for, the responsibility for it passes to the customer.

You can track your parcel at DPD online or by downloading the DPD app.

Availability and Estimated Delivery Times

We do our best to ensure availability of all listed products and endeavour to despatch all parts within the quoted time. We will inform you by email in the event of a shipping delay. If a part is not available at the time of despatch, we will contact you by email with an estimated delivery date and issue a refund if you decide to cancel your order.

If you have ordered multiple items they may arrive separately. Any carriage will only be charged once.

We will endeavour to despatch orders as quickly as possible. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and obtain a refund by using the Returns/Cancellation Form on our website.

When a part has become obsolete or discontinued, we may withdraw that part from sale. If you have placed an order for an item that has been withdrawn from sale, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative product if one is available. You may choose to cancel the order.

Please do not arrange to have a tradesperson on site to fit any parts until after your goods have arrived and you have checked them and accepted. We will not pay your tradesperson’s costs in the event that the item is damaged in transit or not suitable for any reason.

You can track your parcel at DPD online or by downloading the DPD app.

Delayed Delivery

You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and obtain a refund prior to the item being despatched. To arrange details of a refund, please contact us by email: parts.returns@cda.eu.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT at prevailing UK rates. It may be necessary to adjust prices in the event of an increase in VAT rates, or as a result of a manufacturer price increase. You are entitled to a full refund if any price increase is not acceptable.

Payment

Payment for parts is made via our secure online checkout system in association with the Stripe platform. We accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard or American Express cards, and Google Pay and Apple Pay. Charges will appear on your statement as ‘CDA Parts’.

Payment will be taken at the point of ordering. Once the payment transaction has been approved by your bank, we will send an email with confirmation that your order is being processed.

Should there be any problem with your order after payment has been taken, such as out of stock parts or an error, we will contact you and ask how you wish to proceed.

If you have ordered multiple items and they are despatched separately you will only be charged once for carriage.

Packaging

Whilst we do package goods carefully, please do take care when opening packages to avoid injury. We cannot be held responsible for personal injury caused when opening packages or fitting parts.

Returns & Refunds

If parts are received damaged or faulty, or there is other reason for returning a part, please contact us immediately by using the Returns/Cancellations Form on our website. Damaged parts should be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

You have 14 days in which to cancel an order no longer required, and 30 days during which to return the goods.

Provided that you return the parts in accordance with these Terms & Conditions CDA will refund the purchase price, or exchange or replace the part. Refunds are normally processed within 14 working days of receipt of the returned goods although sometimes refunds may take a little longer.

Refunds are made using the same form of payment used to make the initial purchase. Once the refund is completed, we will inform you by email. Depending on the bank and payment method, you should normally see the refund in your account within 14 working days.

CDA will refund delivery and return charges where the parts are being returned because they are faulty, damaged or differ from these ordered by you. Refunds for return postage will only be made once fault or damage has been verified and will be made by BACS payment. Return postage charges must be supported by a receipt, be reasonable and be approved by CDA.

Returns Form

All goods are despatched with a Returns Form enclosed. If you are returning items for any reason, please complete the form and enclose it with the returned parts in addition to completing the online form. This helps us to identify the order and process returns and any credits quickly and efficiently.

Return Postage

If a part is faulty, received damaged or is different from the part which you ordered, CDA will pay the postage fees to return the part and will add this to the refund of the part and the cost of the original delivery.

If you cancel your order, you will be responsible for organising and paying for the return delivery. We will refund only the cost of the part on your original order.

Proof of Postage

Please make sure you obtain proof of postage in case your item goes missing in transit.

Part Fitting

Parts are sold through our website on a supply only basis. Any support with fitting parts should be independently sourced. Parts should be fitted by a competent/qualified person and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Any attempt to modify or repair a CDA appliance by an unauthorised person will render all CDA warranties invalid – see warranty terms and conditions. CDA will not be held liable for any injury or consequential losses resulting from parts being fitted incorrectly, or from the fitting of an incorrect part, or from injury caused by handling any part.

Please do not arrange to have a tradesperson on site to fit any parts until after your goods have arrived and you have checked them and accepted. We will not pay your tradesperson’s costs in the event that the delivery is delayed, the item is damaged in transit or is not suitable for any reason.
